I expect that all group members will comply with UNR’s guidelines (https://www.unr.edu/oit/policies/artificial-intelligence-policy) and the ACS’s guidelines (https://researcher-resources.acs.org/publish/aipolicy) for AI use in scholarly and academic writing and communications.
The paramount requirement is that all AI use be disclosed within the document, proposal,manuscript, poster, talk, or any other communication medium so that that anyone and everyone who is sees the communication (that is, the audience) is aware of how ai tools were used.
Failure to disclose any and all use of AI will be considered academic dishonesty (https://www.unr.edu/administrative-manual/6000-6999-courses-curricula-and-organizational-change-process/6502-academic-standards, especially section A.2).
